Please read the instruction manual and the safety instructions carefully before operating the milk frother.
 

• This milk frother is for household use only. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility, and the warranty will not apply in the event of any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions. 
• This milk frother is designed for indoor use only.  
• This is an attended product. 
• Connect the milk frother to earthed power sockets only. An improper connection voids warranty. 

• Only operate the milk frother through a professionally installed socket supplying the correct voltage. 
• Never immerse the milk frother into water or any other liquids.  
• Do not use the milk frother (nor its cord/plug) if it is not in perfect working order or if there is evidence of damage. In such cases, inform Sjöstrand customer service. 
• The milk frother should only be operated on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface away from water splashes and any heat sources. 
• Never touch any moving parts. 

• Do not use extension cables. 
• Never let the main cable hang loose, nor remove plug with wet hands, nor lay or hang on hot surfaces, nor let it come in contact with oils. 
• Always unplug the milk frother: 
• After each use 
• When the machine is not in use 

• Before changing accessories or cleaning the appliance 
• Do not touch the metal parts, the filter holder or its housing when the milk frother is in use, as this may cause bums or scalding. 
• Any person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, should only use the milk frother under supervision by a person responsible for their safety. 
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the milk frother. 
• Do not operate without milk in the jug. 

• By exceeding the filling capacity, the jug may overflow. 
• The jug shall only be used in conjunction with the base unit provided. 
• The jug is not suitable for the refrigerator, freezer or dishwasher.  
• Only use fire blankets to extinguish fires on appliances. 
• Do not insert any objects and/or fingers into the milk frother’s apertures. 

• This product conforms to directive 89/336 CEE regarding electromagnetic compatibility. 
• For environmental protection, make sure to check local regulations for waste handling of electrical devices. Your machine contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a waste collection point. Packaging is made of recyclable materials.
